Scholar Spotlight: Elias Yazbeck

Meet 🤝 Elias Yazbeck, PracticePro Scholar – South Texas College of Law, Class of 2022.

Question: Where are you working this summer?

Elias: will be working at the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Texas for Judge Marvin Isgur during the first half of the summer. I will then be working at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas for Magistrate Judge Zack Hawthorn the second half.

Question: What prior experience did you have before law school?

Elias: I worked in commercial real estate development for several years before transitioning to law.

Question: What’s next on your bucket list?

Elias: Hike the West Highland way - 96 Miles Through the Scottish Highlands.
