Meet 🤝 Cindy West, PracticePro Scholar-University of Miami School of Law, Class of 2022.

Question: Where are you working this summer?

Cindy: Boies Schiller Flexner and Uber (Six weeks at each place).

Question: What practice area are you interested in?

Cindy: Technology Law.

Question: What would you like for us to highlight about your prior work experience?

Cindy: I served in the United States Army in logistics operations for six years.

Question: What inspired you to pursue a legal career?

Cindy: I was inspired by my entire childhood experience, which involved being raised by a single undocumented mother. I often found myself advocating from a young age on behalf of my mother for opportunities that were naturally available to others. This experience has fueled my desire to advocate for members of marginalized communities and to create opportunities that will lead to social change.

Question: What do you like to do for fun?

Cindy: I like to make ice cream from scratch!

Question: What’s next on your bucket list?

Cindy: Visiting New Zealand.
