Question: Where will you be working this summer?
Boguang: As a research assistant for a Penn Law Professor.
Question: What practice area are you interested in?
Boguang: Corporate Transactional.
Question: What would you like for us to highlight about your prior work experience?
Boguang: I participated in the 10th Annual Stanford U.S.-Russia Forum, a Stanford University-led initiative dedicated to fostering a better relationship between the U.S. and Russia. My research group analyzed case studies from U.S. and China to identify important mechanisms for promoting a more robust business climate for Russian tech companies. We presented our findings to U.S. and Russian policymakers.
Question: What inspired you to pursue a legal career?
Boguang: I hope the legal expertise and studies can build on my business-oriented experience this far and expand my world-views. Lawyering skills and experience can better prepare me for a professional career in promoting cross-border commerce and transaction.
Question: What do you do for fun?
Boguang: I am a world traveler and I enjoy exploring different cultures, cuisines and interacting with people from all backgrounds.
Question: What’s next on your bucket list?
Boguang: Improve my cooking skills in light of the lockdown.
